Husqvarna is giving its dual sport and off-road lines a refresh for 2022 with better suspension and braking components, refreshed graphics, and other mechanical upgrades aimed at improving performance. The changes affect seven models: the two-stroke TE 150i, TE 250i, and TE 300i, and the four-stroke FE 350, FE 350s, FE 501, and FE 501s.

In the suspension department, each machine gets updated damping and action for the WP Xplor fork and Xact shock. Shock valve seats are changed to reduce hardness, and an oil bypass in the outer fork tube helps smooth out the stroke. There’s also a new cartridge joint to improve damping.
2022 Husqvarna FE 501. (Husqvarna/)
Braking is improved with a new Braktec hydraulic clutch system, which provides lighter action at the lever. It’s self-adjusting and nearly maintenance-free, according to Husqvarna. The brand also touts better stopping power thanks to the new setup.

All seven models will come with electric starters and get up-to-date fuel-injection systems. The FE 350 and FE 501s in particular retain two engine maps and traction control. The TE two-strokes come with switchable ignition curves.

The TE 250i also gets new final drive gearing to improve low-end performance.
