AGV AX9 Helmet – $350
The AGV AX-9 Helmet is an all-new design over the popular AX-8 DS EVO Helmet. It starts with the lightweight carbon, aramid and fiberglass shell and a redesigned peak for optimal aerodynamics. The peak itself is adjustable to reduce the sail effect at high speeds. Superior ventilation is achieved with 5 total vents: an adjustable chin-vent, two brow inlets and 2 extractors. The design of this helmet also allows for four different configurations — peak / visor, no peak / visor, peak / goggles, no peak / goggles — meaning it can handle practically any riding scenario. On the inside, the helmet has a fit to allow for comfort while wearing glasses and the padding is treated for optimal comfort. The cheek pads and top liner are moisture wicking and the neckroll is water resistant to prevent water from getting inside the helmet.
Biltwell Lane Splitter Helmet – $160
Straight from the mean streets of Temecula, CA Biltwell has developed a new contender for the tough-guy/girl helmet market. The Biltwell Lane Splitter channels that 1970’s stig styling that has become so popular over the last couple years from riders like Rusty Butcher. Made from the same quality materials found in the Gringo helmets and Bonanza helmets, the Lane Splitter features a polycarbonate shell, hinged face shield, removable comfort liner and Biltwell’s legendary color options. Don’t let mundane helmets slow you down like traffic on the 405. Get the Lane Splitter and get going.
Crafted around Biltwell’s proprietary ABS outer shell and features a shock-absorbing EPS liner with hand-stitched interior padding, cheek pads and BioFoam chin bar cushion for comfort. Generous vents in the chin bar get the air flowing and the rear outlet lets hot air escape. The Lane Splitter shield boasts extremely accurate optics and simple hinge mechanics for high style and easy removal for replacement or cleaning. A brass peg and hole configuration on the left side of the shield offers speedy opening and secure closing with little fanfare or complication. Mesh pockets are included in the ear recess–perfect for most aftermarket drop in communication systems.
LS2 Subverter Ray Helmet – $120
The LS2 MX470 Subverter is a game changer in the world of high performance MX helmets. LS2 uses their proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) for the shell. KPA is lightweight, offers just a little flex as part of the energy management system and is ultra strong. LS2 uses 3 shell sizes for the Subverter to assure that you get the smallest, lightest shell possible for your specific size. The internal energy absorbing EPS uses in-molding technology by attaching an internal polycarbonate protective layer between the dual-density EPS and the comfort padding. This layer is slick and allows the comfort liner just a bit of slippage to help offset and diminish rotational energy and dramatically improve the dissipation of energy absorbed by the EPS. In other words, it takes energy management to a better level. The shell has 35 separate ventilation ports with a channeled EPS to allow the maximum possible airflow, keeping the rider cooler in the heat of competition. The eye port is wide, allowing for a full field of vision and accommodates virtually any brand of goggles (sold separately).
HJC RPHA 11 Pro Crutchlow S1 Helmet – $350
The HJC RPHA 11 builds upon the hugely successful RPHA 10, creating an even more finely tuned helmet for sport and track-day enthusiasts. A more aerodynamically refined shell, improved rear spoiler design, ACS “Advanced Channeling Ventilation System”, an added forehead vent, greater field of view, a redesigned face shield gasket system and both clear and smoke tinted optically-superior Pinlock-ready 2D flat-racing shields round out the features of this helmet.
