New Delhi. Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler company Benling India has launched its electric scooter on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of India. The name of the scooter is ‘Believe’ and the company says that the main focus of this scooter is safety. Benling Believe is priced at Rs 97,520 (ex-showroom) and has been launched in six color options. It includes Magic Grey, Purple, Black, Blue, Yellow and White options. Total of 3,000 units are ready for delivery. Another 9,000 units will be ready in November.
The scooter can run 120 km on a single charge. It has a riding range of 70-75 km in Sport mode. New generation batteries have been used in the scooter, which is based on Lithium Iron Phosphate. The major highlight of the scooter is the smart breakdown assist function which helps the riders to cover 25 km with ease during the breakdown. The scooter gets a warranty of up to 50,000 km or 36 months.
The scooter will come with a swipeable battery
The Benling Believe scooter gets a swipeable battery. This LFP battery comes with a micro charger and an auto-cut-off system. The battery can be fully charged in about four hours. The BLDC motor has a capacity of 3.2 kWh and is waterproof. The top speed of the scooter is 75 kmph and the weight is 248 kg which is quite a lot. Benling India says that the Believe can accelerate to 40 kmph in 5.5 seconds.
The Scooter will get many new age features
The feature list of the scooter includes multiple speed modes, keyless start, park assist functionality, mobile app connectivity, real-time tracking, mobile charging, regenerative braking, and an anti-theft alarm. The Believe comes with a class loading capacity of 250 kg. Disc brakes have been given at both the front and rear. The scooter has been certified by ARAI/ICAT and the company says that it has been specially developed for Indian roads.
