The business structure of Ducati Motor Holding is a lot like one of those nesting Russian dolls – the Italian motorcycle brand is owned by Lamborghini, which is owned by Audi, which is owned by Volkswagen…whose stock is largely owned by Porsche, which is also owned by VW.
Are you still with me? Good, because it will can also be a little confusing without this knowledge to see the Lamborghini name on a motorcycle. This isn’t the first time that the two Bologna companies have made a fraternal partnership, however.
The Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was a polarizing project, but a strong-seller for Ducati, with the bike selling out almost instantly once it debuted.
Lamborghini and Ducati are now looking to rekindle that magic, and have tapped the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S for the job. As such, say hello to the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini.
Only 630+63 units will be made (that’s 693 units in total, for those not doing Italian math), and if you want one in your garage, then your wallet is going to take a $68,000 hit.
Visually, the bike is an homage to the Lamborghini Huracán STO, and it comes with a number of special pieces worthy of a limited-edition motorcycles.
First up is the unique set of forged aluminum wheels (with titanium locking nut), which mimic the look found on the Huracán STO. Equally hard-to-miss is the radical paint scheme, which you will either love or hate in the comments section at the bottom of this article.
The Ducati Design Center has also massaged the bodywork on the Streetfighter V4: the front mudguard, tank cover, bellypan, and tail, all have new components, grille extractors, vents, and air intakes draw a link to the Lamborghini Huracán STO.
For example, the mudguard is inspired by the integrated air vents in the Lamborghini “cofango”, the extractors on the bellypan follow the cooling intakes of the rear brakes of the Huracán STO.
The saddle is also another link to the Lamborghini four-wheeler, with the leather seat matching those found on the Huracán.
A bevy of CNC’d aluminum and carbon fiber pieces adorn the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, including an Akrapovic exhaust. In total, 630 of these bikes will be made, but another 63 models will be even more exclusive.
These Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti motorcycles can be further customized in direct collaboration with the Ducati Style Center, as part of their continued offering of bespoke motorcycles.
For those wanting matching kit, Ducati has teamed up with Dainese and Arai to make a lineup of Lamborghini branded jackets, suits, and helmets.
If you like what you see below, then you can expect to see one in the flesh at dealerships, starting April 2023.
