With the official launch set for this Friday, images of the next-gen Suzuki Hayabusa have already started circulating online. Here are the details!
In case you are not aware, the next-gen 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will be officially launched at the virtual Suzuki Global Motor Salon later this week. The event is set to take place on the 5th of February 2021 at 8:00 am (CET). Read more about the teaser here.
Just last week Suzuki put up a launch teaser post for the Hayabusa but just days ahead of the launch, images of the upcoming Suzuki Hayabusa have already been leaked online.
Speaking of the latest leak, it appears to be from slides given to the dealers. Although the leaked photo gives a glance of the bike from the outside, the official specification details are still unknown. However, we managed to pick up a few details from the earlier teaser post and the recently leaked photo.
Starting off with the design, as speculated earlier the next-gen Hayabusa gets an all-new fairing design from the ground up. Starting with the front, the front fascia looks a lot sharp and aggressive. The headlamp and rear taillamp design have been revised to go hand in hand with the updated look.
From what we picked up from the teaser earlier, the new Hayabusa gets an all-new instrument panel alongside an array of rider aids such as SDMS (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector) and the usual fancy electronics. Besides this, we think the next-gen Hayabusa could also pack a sophisticated active suspension set up as standard.
In the case of the powertrain, other than the Euro 5 compliance, we think Suzuki has done some work around the engine and gearbox to keep up with the current competition. Well, for now, only time would tell.
