The Italjet Dragster 500GP is more of a hybrid of a scooter and a conventional motorcycle.
Italjet has just debuted the Dragster 500GP at the 2022 Milan Motor Show (EICMA) in Italy. The model on display is more of a hybrid of a scooter and a conventional motorcycle.
Dragster 500GP is seen as Italjet’s effort to advance three things in the motorcycle industry, namely superior technology, design, and perfection.
The Dragster 500GP is said to be a product inspired by hyper sport motorcycles. It offers the riding pleasure of a motorcycle with the light and nimble aspects of a performance scooter.
It features a 450cc single-cylinder DOHC 4-valve 4-stroke engine with a liquid cooling system with fuel injection technology. The bike is capable of generating 43hp of power at 8,000rpm and 43Nm torque at 6,000rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual clutch-type transmission. The model uses a multi-plate wet-type clutch and a chain-type drive system.
The Dragster 500GP comes with a starter button to start the engine. It is built of a trellis frame-type chassis. It has an inverted fork (USD) of 47mm and twin rear absorbers positioned at an angle, which are adjustable.
The front double disc brake size is 270mm, whereas the rear single disc type is 230mm. The bike uses Brembo calipers and an ABS system.
Finishing off the bike are 15-inch alloy rims with Pirelli tires measuring 120/70 (front) and 160/60 (rear). The Dragster 500GP weighs around 180kg and features a 12-liter fuel tank.
