Japan’s speed wars are some of the most infamous stories in the automotive world. It all started when Honda released the 1996 Honda Blackbird to destroy the Kawasaki ZX-11 for top speed. Two years later Suzuki launched in the infamous Hayabusa and that bike broke the 300 kmph mark for bikes. But Kawasaki wasn’t gonna shy away from a good battle.
