After a long break, speed enthusiasts finally got to attend a Racing event in India. The Valley Run 2021, held at Aamby Valley City Airport in Lonavala, witnessed tremendous response this year as it was paired with The India Bike Week Festival which usually takes place in Goa. Automotive enthusiasts traveled from far away places like Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Goa, Telangana & Mumbai. The event was spread across 3 days over the weekend, Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting 3rd December.

The Valley Run saw participation from puny motorcycles starting from 100 cc and open category having big motorcycles up to 1400 cc. The two-wheeler category had a souped-up Yamaha RD 350 capable of clocking 11.9 seconds in a quarter-mile. That is enough to give a 600+ cc superbike a tough fight. The Superbike category consisted of drag favorite Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX 14R, Kawasaki H2 Drag Prepped, BMW S1000RR & KTM Duke 790.

The four-wheeler category witnessed Lamborghini, Nissan GTR R35, BMWs, Audi R8, Tuned Skoda VRS, Volkswagon Polo GT, and many more crowd-pleasing cars. There was also a Drift Arena made, where Mr. Gautam Singhania of Raymond Group himself performed some drifts in his Ford Mustang Mach-1, BMW E46 M3 with a Supercharged LS engine from Chevy and a Nissan 240 SX. The same arena was used for displaying some motorcycle stunts which was helmed by none other than Sachin Khengle aka Riderboy.
